Digital vibrance is more important in a game like CSGO than Overwatch and it is definitely more popular in CSGO among the pros than Overwatch but some pro players in Overwatch also use it (not everyone). Those who uses it has it on 70 – 100% 2.4 Nvidia Adjust Desktop Size and Position. Select “Aspect ratio” and Perform scaling on: “GPU”.
I had a blast playing this game during the stress test weekend, and for part of it I played on my rMBP 15' with the Radeon m370x. The only way I was able to get consistently smooth fps without mouse movement latency problems was to play at 1280x800 with all settings set to low. This is with Windows 10 installed to an external (USB 3) SSD with all of my bootcamp drivers up to date.
I was surprised to hear that some players are able to play with an HD 4400 with regular PC's, since the m370x should be a lot more powerful. Anyone else playing on an m370x? How about Iris/Iris Pro, gt 650m, or gt 750m? Also, iMac players - if there are any of you - how's your performance? Hey everyone!
I know this thread is sort of old, but I just installed Bootcamp on my machine and it works very well. Here are my specs: Mid-2012 MacBook Pro (15'), 2.3Ghz i7, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M, Windows 8.1 (64-bit) Windows is installed on a partition of my HDD. When you install Mac's Bootcamp stuff after installing Windows, it includes a very old driver for the NVIDIA card. When I went to boot Overwatch, a dialog box popped up about by graphics card driver being outdated. The game was SUPER slow and the graphics were terrible. I went to NVIDIA's website and downloaded the 'Game Ready Driver'. After installing this and restarting my computer, I am now able to play Overwatch at full resolution with medium settings at 60fps.
Of course, mileage my vary, but my laptop is four years old and can still run it pretty well. Just make sure you download your video card's latest drivers and the game should run better for you.
